In the green forest lived a little black bird with white wingtips. He was called Kiri and had one dream: to fly to the highest cloud in the sky.
But Kiri had been born with his right wing a little smaller. Every time he tried to fly, he spun left and fell.
The other birds flew up and waved to him. "Come Kiri! Come!" Kiri tried, fell, tried again.
His father, an old wise bird, told him: "Kiri, your left side is very strong. Do not fight against your wing — learn to steer it."
Kiri did not understand right away. But he started to train differently. He flew just a little high but steered well. He spun carefully. Each day a little farther.
After two weeks, Kiri managed to keep himself in the air for ten seconds. Then thirty. Then a whole minute.
The day he reached the cloud, Kiri stood there and saw the whole forest below. It was the most beautiful sight ever.
Not because he arrived easily — but because he arrived after fighting hard.
Lesson: Do not give up. The long road teaches things the short road does not have.
